The Department of Mechanical Engineering has organized an awareness workshop on “Biofuel” at GKVK (Gandhi Krishi Vignan Kendra) on 21st August 2019. 50 students of 3rd year Mechanical Engineering has attended this workshop. This programme is sponsored by Karnataka State Biofuel Board and coordinated by KSCST, Bengaluru. The resource persons of this workshop are from GKVK, Mr. Rajesh and Mr. Nagarjun.
The seminar has been given to the students about the information of agricultural sciences, extraction of oils from the various types of seeds available. And also they have explained about the generation of biogas.
